Transformative Coaching
What will be different for you when you have made the shift you want to make? What would tell you that you have, indeed, made that shift?
Philosophy
Leadership is an inside job.

The further out we want our impact to reach, the further in we must travel to understand our calling, our motivation, our principles, our behavior and ourselves.
Appreciating and developing our internal capacities and disrupting patterns that no longer serve, help us to bring our internal gifts to the world. And of course, leadership is also an outside job. The way we interact with the larger world has everything to do with how successful our organizations and communities will be.
This never-ending flow of attention and energy between internal and external development is the focus of Transformative Coaching — a process and structure for increasing mindfulness, changing habits and building on strengths to increase wellbeing and create new behaviors and results.
The Flow
Integration meets Impact.
Transformative coaching honors both loops of the Mobius or infinity sign — the internal work of integration and the external work of impact. Collaboration is the bridge.

What Coaching Is
Coaching is for psychologically healthy individuals who want to make changes and move forward in their lives. It addresses the whole person with an emphasis on producing action that can lead to more balance, fulfillment and self-defined success.
What Coaching Isn't
Coaching is not advice, therapy or counseling. Our work together will help you explore the issues and opportunities in your professional and personal life — but it is a forward-looking partnership, not a clinical one.
The Map
Personality is Not Permanent
Transformative Coaching is grounded in the map of the Enneagram, which reveals and can help disrupt personality patterns that keep us stuck in old ways of being.
Coaching with the Enneagram helps you recognize how your behavior changes when you feel safe and secure, and how it shifts when you feel stressed — giving you the awareness to choose differently.

The Structure
Co-designed, then committed.
The focus and process for the coaching relationship will be co-designed by both you and the coach. Because development occurs at rates unique to each individual, we commit to working with each other for an initial three-month period over five coaching sessions.
This allows the coaching relationship the necessary time to develop and progress through objectives, obstacles and successes that occur.

Featured Program
ASU SUNlite Coaching
Christine is the co-founder of Arizona State University's SUNlite Coaching Program — a free, internal professional development initiative for all ASU faculty and staff. SUNlite Coaching is grounded in the SUN Model of Coaching.
Participants often describe coaching as a dedicated space to think more clearly and make progress on what's important. SUNlite participants report increased confidence in setting goals, a stronger sense of connection to the ASU community, and a willingness to recommend the program. Coaches also share that the experience strengthens their listening, communication and leadership skills while deepening relationships across the university.
